I just wanted something healthy and quick today. The tuna fish was amazing and the salad is an absolutely must have. I followed the ingredient recipe on the Tuna Fish bag for sweet and sour tuna fish. The tuna is Wild Albacore Tuna. The salad has everything I like placed in it. It was superb.
Let’s get to the recipe:
1/8 cup sesame oil
1/8 cup water
1 tsp fish sauce
3 tsp lime juice
4 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp ground garlic
1 tsp finely diced red peppers
1 tsp finely diced green onions
1 pinch red pepper flakes
I added a little more garlic and brown sugar to my glaze. I treated myself today.
Combine all ingredients
Marinate two hours
Sear on each side on a cast iron stove top grill than place in a cast iron frying pan
Pour marinate on top and around.
Place in oven to broil for about 12 minutes in a 525 degree oven.
